Yay! I love these stories.

My news is reporting on a dog that was found safe after being gone for 7 months. This is near my IL's house, and also not far from our property. I remember seeing signs last summer, at every single intersection. Full color photos, like 18x24 signs everywhere. It made me so sad because he was clearly loved and missed.

?Teddy,? a three-year-old Shetland rescued sheepdog missing for more than seven months has been found safe and sound.

Forensic experts helped search for the family dog for 15 hours each week since he got off his collar last year during a fireworks display on the Fourth of July.

Forensic expert Jennifer Clark said, ?We set up the traps for him we had an infrared camera set up so we could see if he came to the traps.?

Ted Fox spotted Teddy on his property. Fox put food in a special trap every day for a month. It worked.

  • Aw, that's a nice story.I love happy ending animal stories

I wrote a story a couple years ago about a dog that was found in Ohio and when they scanned his chips, he had come all the way from New York. There's an organization of pilots that volunteers to transport dogs lost that far back home.

The sad thing was the dog had been gone for two years and the family didn't even know - they had given him to another family "temporarily" when they had a baby, but they said they had always intended to take him back.
