Dishwasher help with cloudy dishes
Hello - I looked for a post about this but didn't find anything. So I had been using Cascade liquid in my dishwasher and its doing a poor job. I got some lemishine and starting adding that. I did the first wash empty per instructions. Now I just add maybe a few tablespoons or more to the bottom. I only have 1 cleaning compartment. I found that if I add alot of the lemishine then it works ok but still not great. My glasses are super cloudy, dirty still and silverware is cloudy also. So far from what I have read the Finish tablets work pretty well so I'm thinking of trying that with the lemishine. Any other suggestions? TIA.

There's probably gunk in your dish washer. Clean it once with just vinegar, no dishes, and hopefully you can see an improvement!

We have really hard water and I was about to replace everything until I discovered LemiShine. I thought they were permanently etched. I put it detergent compartment, to the full line. I put detergent in the open pre-wash compartment (per LemiShine's instructions).
Try starting a cycle like that but stop the washer after 10 minutes and let it sit for a while. Or maybe let the affected dishes sit in the sinkful of hot water with dissolved LemiShine.
Also, I find the LemiShine rinse agent completely worthless. And you can buy the regular stuff much cheaper on Amazon. Look for food-grade (important) citric acid. It's the same thing!
