New Dog- Again

A beautiful female Boston Terrier was just dropped off as a stray at our local humane society. We're going to bring Loki to meet "Gigi" this weekend, assuming she doesn't get adopted before then. I'm so excited.

Very exciting!!! I hope it goes well... Would you change her name? (cause I would, Gigi is a toy poodle name, not a Boston!)

I think we would. We've talked about naming a girl dog Kali (Hindu goddess of power/change/time) which I think is cute. But we haven't totally decided what the new name would be. I think we want to stick with a goddess of some kind, since we have Loki (Norse god of mischief).

Aww Yay!! Josh wants to get a Boston for our next dog. We'll see what happens by that time though! Hope everything goes well. And I agree I might change her name. How old is she?

She's 3, so a little younger than Loki, which is what we were hoping for. It looks like a lot of people are interested in giving her a good home, so she definitely won't be there for long. They also just took in 8 pit puppies who are about 2 weeks away from being old enough to adopt. If Gigi/Kali isn't still there this weekend when we can get in, I think we'll do a meet & greet with Loki and the puppies to see if one of them could come home with us. I think Drew is set on getting another dog this weekend.

How exciting!! Sounds like you will be a family of four in just days. When I get your name for Secret Santa next year, a pit bull or Boston ornament should be easy to find :-)
