Anyone know of a great place for buffalo wings BESIDES Buffalo Wild Wings (we've had too many bad experiences there)? Anyone tried Wing Heaven? Nick said he wants to go out for wings and drinks this week.
Re: Best place for wings?
I have not personally had Wing Heaven, but my little brother LOVES it. It might be worth checking out.
Hubby likes wings a lot so I normally order him some from Johnny's Pizza King. He also like the ones at Village Inn on 44th st and Breton. I wouldnt say that any of the above are the best ever but they are pretty good, and if you don't want to leave town they might make an good alternative.

Their burgers are amazing! Also, on weekends there can be very long waits. If you can make reservations/call ahead, I highly recommend that or having a contingency plan for what to do if you end up with an hour wait.
SIL was telling us about this place. I think we might check it out.
I was just there this past weekend - the wings and fried pickles were decent.
I have not had the Quaker steak wings, but I heard they are amazing. There is always Hooters...
What is up with Buffalo Wild wings? We haven't been happy with them the last few times...the service in the 28 th street bdubs is a joke. And the food was not impressive. The 44th street bdubs food was good, but slooooow. We use to really enjoy getting a small group of friends together and head for Bdubs....but we are thinking about finding a new place. :0(
Yeah their service sucks and their wings are dinky and expensive. Frankie V's has good wings, but spotty service. I think we'll end up getting take out at Wing Heaven and picking up a 6 pack of beer and staying in. We won't have to get a baby sitter or worry about driving home that way.
