Happy Wednesday! The week is alllllmost over. Well, not really, not even half yet, but hey, a girl can be optimistic.
Last night felt way too short. I ran some errands on the way home, so by the time I was home and had dinner made it was nearly 8pm. We watched HIMYM, the Top Chef Restaurant Wars episode (so sad about who went home, he was one of our favourites) and then Glee. By that time it was the very late hour of 9:30, so we went to bed. It was glorious.
We were supposed to start our prenatal classes tonight, but I got a call from the hospital yesterday that the instructor is sick, so we're delayed a week. Hopefully instead tonight can be a productive night around the house.
How is everyone today?
Re: Happy Hump Day!
We had fun last night out with drinks with coworkers, but we got home later than I wanted and we were both exhausted and in bed around 10. I even "slept in" this morning and got up at 6am - looks like my body is finally realizing it's back in London. No workout since my body is so sore from the past few days.
Busy day at work, but I'm still hoping to head out at a decent hour so I can get home, cook dinner and relax before going to bed early.

Yay for Wednesday.
Well it appears I am getting sick again. BLAH! I was up for a while lastnight with a very stuffy nose and coughing. I am at work, but not sure for how long. I have a nasty cough, and honestly not only is it distracting me, but it isn't fair to the others in cubicle world.
Lastnight was a typical evening, and tonight will be the same.
Well I should get back to work since I'm not sure if I am staying or not.
Have a great day ladies.
Last night I was just lazy which was nice. I did end up staying up late to watch The River and I kind of wish I had gone to bed. I'm not thinking I'll watch anymore. This morning my alarm didn't go off again but fortunately I only woke up about 5 minutes after I had set it for.
Today is a late shift (8-4) and I'm just getting ready to go for a run on the treadmill. It's nice that no one will see me so I can wear whatever I want since I want to wear shorts because I get too hot and I don't think any of my shorts fit comfortably anymore.
The next 2 days I'm at the farther away small hospital so I can't wait for the weekend to get here. I think I might be getting the urge to nest soon and want to get a lot done this weekend.
Good Morning!
Last night was very productive and I got a good bit of cleaning done and dinner for tonight started. Which should make tonight extra easy. I have been sick for the last 2 weeks and I would love to go to the doctor, but I can not take off work for more than an hour or two and the in town doctor is super slow. I might have to bite the bullet if I am not any better by Friday and just go.
Tonight I am hoping to take the kids for a walk since dinner is pretty much done, and then do my workout video. DH will be late getting home tonight since he has to to meet with our contractor. I am sorta glad he won't be home till late. I have some shows on the DVR I am really wanting to watch that he doesn't care for.
Yesterday morning I woke up sick, this morning I am still sick...and maybe even sicker. I was woken up early and was unable to get back to sleep. This cold is killing me.
I am really looking forward to this weekend, I just need to start feeling better. I haven't been able to get to the gym and I really would like to get in a good run. I am also hoping to finally find a good doctor here and make an appointment in the near future.
The commercials for that show were enough to make me not want to watch. It looked creepy/terrifying.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
rxbeth - I watched The River too. It was so creepy! I generally love scary movies and such but I'm still undecided on if I'll continue watching this show.
Last night was good. I got in a workout and watched some TV. I took care of a few things around the house too, although probably not as much as I should have. Tonight I'm hoping for more of the same. I'm very excited for a new episode of Revenge tonight!
Good morning, ladies.
I'm learning to knit, so I went to Michaels on the way home for some half-price yarn, and I managed to make the cutest little hat for my friend's baby. He's up to 3 lb 4 oz, and doing very well in the NICU. Now I have the fever to learn more and make more stuff.
Have a great day, everyone!
Ah, we meant to tape The River, but we forgot. We'll catch it On Demand, I'm sure.
I finally got my hair cut last night, and it feels amazing. As soon as my stylist saw me, he said "OMG, you're pregnant, aren't you?" I said, "uhhh... yeah... how'd you know?" Apparently he knew it when he saw I was only coming in for a trim, and not a full color job, haha.
After my appt, I met up with one of my BFFs (the one who's getting married in St. Thomas) and had some California Pizza Kitchen for dinner. It was delicious. By the time I got home, Sean was already in bed, so I joined him and we watched Parenthood. LOVE that show.
Happy Hump Day!

Good morning! Last night was a quiet night at home. I made a loaded baked potato soup that was in no way good for you, but delicious.
My boss is back in the office today for the first time this week, so he will be BSC and just drive us all insane today with the micromanaging. It is a struggle to remember that I like my job and have it pretty easy on days like this. That said, another excellent job opening appeared in my inbox yesterday (with an appropriate salary this time) so I sent in my resume for that one. Fingers crossed that I get a call back.

Hi, all. Reba, fingers crossed for you. I hope your hunt goes well and you move to something new fast!
Today's the big event day. I've reached the point of indifference. I told Josh that the president of the company could yell at me if something went wrong and I wouldn't blink. I just want it to be over. There are also a few writer/editor positions popping up in my job feeds, so I know what I'm doing this weekend.
After work, some friends and I are seeing "The Woman in Black" (we read it for book club). I have to find a coffee shop first, though, and try to do my creative writing homework before the movie.
Hope everyone has a great day!
I liked the River! I had to leave the room with the bit with the dolls. They creep me out so much. It's not as good as Lost, but I'm willing to give it another couple of weeks. As long as it doesn't turn out to be a monster of the week show, then I think it has potential.
Yesterday, I was at a drama seminar all day. It was good times - definitely the most fun you can have in an education seminar, you're going to have with a bunch of drama teachers. We had some spoken word artists come in and they were AMAZING. The seminar was also held a five minute walk from my house, so it was amazing to roll out of bed at 8 am instead of 6!

Good morning. I hope all of you that are sick get well soon. I had a cold a couple weeks ago and just took lots of buckley's and within 3 days it was completely gone.
I was so busy all day yesterday. Russ left in the morning for work. Then my mom called me and needed to meet me on the other side of the city even though she said she would come to my house. I had to leave my door unlocked so my older sister could come over, she was my little sisters model for her pedicure course. So I had to rush home so my older sister wasn't late getting to my little sisters school. (I watched my niece while she went.) Since my sisters aren't familiar with Edmonton, I drove them to the school. Then I had to pick Gibson up from school and then straight to the south side to get my sisters again. It was crazy busy.
Today my only plans are to clean my house and do nothing else.
Good morning!
Last night was fairly low key. I got in a really good workout, made dinner, and relaxed a little bit before going to bed early.
Today should be pretty busy, I'm going to start getting things set up for our Women in Networking A Night in Paris themed party. I'll probably have to take some things home to work on as well like table cloths that need ironed and swag bags that need to be put together. I'll be really relieved when this party is over.

Today I have a Spanish test. I was super happy yesterday I didn't feel good about a test a took and then when I showed us the distribution I was confident I failed. I only missed 3 questions and super close to getting and A.
Today is class and homework, DH and I are also going to go to yoga I am pumped because I haven't been since December.
I stayed up way too late last night chatting with friends and drinking beers. I didn't realize how many I'd had until I got up to go to bed. Bad idea on a Tuesday night. Oh well. Sort of worth it. I had so much fun laughing with people. DH went to bed early, so I didn't get the side eye for being on my laptop, either. I hate that! Tonight could be another repeat, but we'll see.
I watched the Lincoln Lawyer last night. Awesome movie. I had read it a while back, so it was nice to watch. I love a good attorney movie. Tonight might be Transformers 3, but we'll see. Sometimes TV ropes me in, and sometimes it doesn't. Last night I watched Teen Mom 2 when it aired for the second time around midnight.
Jackson reminded me that I can't do stupid things like that anymore when he woke up at 3am screaming bloddy murder...and so the funk continues.
Hey ladies! Nothing much new here, E and I spent the evening at Ikea last night picking up a few things and then treated ourselves to In-n-Out burgers on the way home. It was nice since my mom has been in town and we haven't gotten any alone time, so we got a catch up a bit.
Tonight and tomorrow E has plans so I'm home on my own, and I'm SO excited for DVR and wine on the couch!
Now jumping domestically.
Well that was a crazy couple of years.
Good luck Reba!
I had plumbers at the house all day yesterday and the water was turned off, so I couldn't do much of anything. So today I need to catch up on laundry and dishes.
Dh is staying OOT tonight due to some work stuff, so I think I'm going to have a me day, around getting my housework done.
Reba - good luck!
Last night was okay. We watched Southland but have seriously fallen behind on some of our favorite shows. My cold has gotten better but I'm still coughing like crazy. Sleep wise it was also a bit better than the night before. DH got up with her the first time she woke up. She woke up again at around 1 so I brought her to our bed and then was up by 4:30 so I overslept and was late to work again. Thank god my boss is so understanding or I'd be fired by now.
Tonight I'm going to try to do a load of laundry. I'm so exhausted though I may just put it off for another day. We'll probably have burgers for dinner cause I'm too lazy to cook. Hope everyone has a good day.
Hey ladies, happy wednesday!
My mom was here visiting all weekend so I wasn't around at all. Noah got baptized on Sunday - he was pretty well behaved besides a bit of shrieking. Here's a picture of him in his outfit.
Today I went to my first Baby Discovery class with other Mom and babies birth-12 months. It was alot of fun, I'm so glad to be getting out of the house during the week now. I'm going again on Friday.
