Cat Update
Thank you everyone for your thoughts and responses to my post about cats a week or so ago. As of right now my cats are with me at my parents house. Both cats were troopers on their flights. I leave for China tomorrow and my mom has told me to not stress or worry about it, that they will keep the cats as long as they need to and they will get lots of love and attention. I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
I'm still concerned about my cats getting along with her cats, but so far we have been keeping my cats in my room and trying to create a "safe haven" for them. We also bought some Feliway plugins and calming spray to hopefully ease some of the tension. Of course, in the middle of all of this my sister decides to rescue a puppy. So now my parents are officially running a zoo with 4 cats, 2 birds and a puppy. My hope is that the puppy keeps my sister's hyper-playful cat occupied and takes some heat off of my cats (once we finally let them out of the room full-time)
Now I just need to re-pack and get ready to fly out at 8 am! Thanks again for all your thoughts and posts!!

I?m so glad it worked out! FWIW we always bring my cat home to stay with my parents over the holidays. They have a cat too and it always takes them a few days to get adjusted to each other but after that they are perfectly fine. They pretty much leave each other alone. Hopefully the same will happen with your kitties and your parents cats.
