Last night DH had his awards dinner. Since it was a nice event, my sister (who is 18 months younger, just had a baby, and who looks nothing like me) did my make up.
The district he works in is in a community where we do not live, but have some extended family (sort of) who do live there. We saw my cousin's dad (my aunt and he divorced over 20 years ago) who we do see about once a year between school and my cousin.
So anway, as we are talking with my ex-uncle, he keeps saying how great I look. I was pumped thinking that my make up was working and I must have looked pretty. But then, I started wondering if he is confusing me with my sister since we don't see him that often. Considering I've not had a baby, I do look "great" for just having a baby. So, was it my make up or did he think I was her?
Re: Odd Encounter
I am sure you are unforgettable and he thought that you were just looking great, not the mistaken identity of your sister. You are a hottie!
Absolutely!
