Hey, quick, last-minute-ish question.
DH and I are going to a friend's house for a game night. We do it pretty often and it's always a good time. This time we're all making appetizers to eat during games. Is there a rule of thumb on alcohol? Would it be weird to bring jello shots? It's just the 4 of us (me, DH, and the couple whose house we're going to). They both drink, I'm just not sure if that's too much of a college-age drink or not. We were thinking about a martini recipe, so it's not like they are expecting this to be a completely dry night.
I'm rambling. Sorry. What do you think? Too weird?
In between the lines there's a lot of obscurity
I'm not inclined to resign to maturity

Re: Rule of thumb...
Shots aren't something I do now, but a few jello shots might be fun. I wouldn't take 3 dozen, but sure take some.
I can't help but wonder if it's because I'm old. I haven't had a jello shot since college (over 15 years ago) and I think it would be a blast. I had to laugh when a friend just pinned this jello shot recipe. She's old too though.

I'm torn too: it is a party drink, but hey, why not?!
I think if you are going to do jello-shots, fancy them up a little: Check out my cocktail board (<clicky>), I found a couple cute shot recipes
