So I'm no Christin, but can I brag?
Y'all know I lost a lot of weight for my wedding. Well my doctor keeps all my visit records online, so I know what I weighed a month before I got married and I know what I weighed in February of 2011. Sadly, I gained 33 pounds back over the course of 2.5 years. But as of today I am 19 pounds down from my Feb 2011 weight. So only 14 to get back to my wedding weight. I am deliriously happy, although I am definitely losing it differently this time, By this weight last time I was in new clothes. Not so much this time. It seems to be coming out of my face andass but not out of my belly or boobs as much as it has in the past.

Way to go Mod! I'm sure it feels awesome to be over halfway there.
You started couch to 5k right? How is that going?
Thanks guys. Being over halfway to wedding weight is nice. It isn't halfway to where I need to be but it is a weight that makes me much happier.
C25K is going, differently than last time. I am sort of stuck on week 4. Because I have not been getting 3 runs in a week and don't seem to be motivated to move on to week 5. Still I am running twice a week, and may get 3 in this week. And if at the end of the day I run week 4 two or three times a week as exercise long term I am still getting a good workout. After having successfully completed it once, I am a lot less motivated by completing it and a lot more motivated by just getting the exercise in.

Christin, no my main change has been bringing my lunch, portion control, and counting calories (not all the time but more days than not). I lost about half of the weight in 2011 without really making an effort other than trying to pay a bit more attention to portions but not changing the way I ate at all. I've lost 10 pounds this year by doing all three.
I've always found (for me) that I have an easier time with portion control when I am not eating meat. Probably because it is harder to go out for lunch etc.

For less then ten cents a day, you can feed a hungry child.
That's fantastic Mod! High five!
Im also going to squeak in that I'm official down 20 lbs as of this morning. It's like the best present I could get all day!
I think that's the right mindset to have, because then you're never like "Welp, I'm done! Now I can kick back."
Yay Hezz!

Awesome job Mod!
I'm trying so hard to be good on WeWa again. Small steps, I suppose.
Geez, man! Where did it even come from? I feel like you had nothing to lose in the first place! Good job though - you were looking superb in your little belted outfit yesterday.
I guess I should take the cake I left for you in your birthday post back then.

Remember all those times I was all like, "You guys, I LOVE Ramen noodles. I eat two packs for lunch and drink 10 cans of coke a day! I love it! I love salt, I love it!!"
Yeah. Salt did this to me. And cake. Don't make me post my sports bra and skivvies starting point pic. I'm saving that for MM.
I have a feeling your starting point pic looks a lot like my goal pic.

I need to get serious about the getting in shape stuff before our Spain trip and TTC. This is awesome, and healthy, "thinspiration"
YAY MOD!
Mucho likes purple nails and purple cupcakes
No kidding. As a former skinny, I know what Hezz means, but right now I'd be happy with Less Gooby.
So, whelp, I'm on the wagon too.
(Although not to lose weight, just general health. I get too fixated on a number, I lose track of my real goal otherwise. So, not losing weight, except incidentally.)
I'm trying to make at least 1/2-1/3 of any meal be veggies. And when I can I'm trying to make the main course + any sides be primarily veggie. So like, veggie fajitas with a salad.
No booze. (I hate this, but I was using it fill my unhealthy foods gap. So for this month, no alcohol.)
More exercise. Completely lame, but I got a Zumba Wii and when Bug isn't around being soooo embarrasssssed by her dorky mom, I can at least be active. And anytime it's not raining, I'm trying to get some gardening or walking in.
So I should look like Hezz by oh, June, right?

OMG, I am such an ass sometimes:
Yay Mod! I'm super proud of you. Your approach (the goal for yourself, not some magic BMI) was what got me to look at this healthiness thing again.

Yay Mod and yay Hezz!
I've been keeping on. I'm not making progress as fast as I would like, but I'm reminding myself that my end goal here is more energy and health and to be more active. I'm doing that. It's not all running, but I'm doing a good job of taking the kids on long walks when I don't get a run in and doing pilates at home. I need to remember to not beat myself up when roadblocks keep me from running three days a week, because doing what I'm able to do is more than what I'd been doing.
