Reapplying & Cover Letter Questions
I originally applied to a position back in September. I never got a call from HR or a rejection message. The listing is still up. They do clean up their job listings so I am surprised it is still listed. I just got certified in a skill set relevant to the position. I would love to have this job so I really want to reapply.
Should I reapply?
Also, I got to thinking I need work experience in this new skill set other than my classroom experience. So I would benefit from any type of employment.
Should I offer to work as a temporary or volunteer worker in my cover letter?
This job search has been too long and I question everything way too much. Thanks for your help.

Yes, I would reapply. Specify in your CL that you were recently certified and how this can benefit them.
I would be careful offering to temp/volunteer. You may end up more as free labor than anything.
