AW: Job related- I got a new one
For the first time in my life, I was recruited!
Pretty much, out of the blue, this company called me and said "so and so referred you and we're looking for someone with your skill set. Would you be interested in interviewing with us?"
Recently, I got a new boss and I've been feeling really iffy about my team. Don't get me wrong, I really like my job, but something felt "off" since he started.
So, we did a phone interview today and 25 minutes into the call the hiring manager says "oh, lets just cut to the chase. I want to hire you. If you're interested, when can you start?"
It's a small bump in pay, I'm really excited for this job and they're going to pay for the remainder of my certifications (equal to a masters degree in my field.)
YAY!!!!!!
