I've got nothing. I'm totally bored today.
I think I'm going through a mini life crisis. All I want to do is go out, drink, be irresponsible, and spend money.
I'm not doing any of the above, but the urge is CRAZY. I'm planning a night out Friday and plan on drinking heavily and dancing like an ass. I'm hoping that scratches the itch.

I feel like this sometimes too and I don't even stay all day with my kid. I think you deserve a night out.
On another note: I am starting to become obsessed with redocorating my house. Pinterest has really helped it a lot. This weekend I am making 2 of these:

And I am on a massive hunt for the perfect fabric to recover my dining room chairs. I know I am driving DH up the wall talking about it.
I got nothin'. I'm bored at work and avoiding filing things, but I really should get on it.
I hate the cold. I just want to go home and curl up on the couch with a book and some cocoa. I'm such a wuss.
I jammed my finger yesterday in the sink. It hurts and is turning interesting colors.
I had a student on my newspaper staff give me lip about covering Black History Month, because it's not "new" and it just makes black people sound as if, "Oh, hey, there are black people and they are useful!" I told the kid if they were so morally opposed to writing the story, then they could hand it off to another kid and I would assign them some fluff piece to entertain them. If the kid wanted to write something else, they should have spoken up when articles were being assigned instead of waiting until the end when that was the only story left.
I had such high hopes for this staff, and they just keep letting me down.
All I want to do is see this stupid dog. I made an appt to see it at 11am and...the foster mom hadn't dropped it off yet. I waited until 11:15. I finally asked the girl to call me when the dog is dropped off and the girl said "Well, you know, the foster mom just got busy like all of us are and is running late."
Okay.
I am busy as well. I LEFT WORK for AN APPOINTMENT to see the dog. Do they want anyone to adopt their damn dogs or not?
Also, I went to Red Pin for lunch with some coworkers to try out the menu for an event we are having there in a few weeks. Mama Mia the food was tasty.
Finally, the chandelier has been hung in my office. I also stripped off most of the wallpaper during a conference call I had this morning. Nothing like multi-tasking, yo.
I feel like I've been running around in circles lately. I don't always *feel* busy, but at the same time I find it harder and harder to carve time out for myself. I guess I need to really work on this.
Nothing crazy going on over here. Just the same old.

I'm craving a big glass of shiraz like nobody's business. 9 months is a long time, people. Yes, I know I can have a couple of ounces, but that just intensifies the craving.
I think I missed a certain female gene. Most of my "home" stuff on Pinterest is organizing or cleaning pins, and I don't have a fashion board.
I didn't know what a bar ditch or a party line was until I worked in a rural school district. They think I'm such a city slicker (which is pretty true compared to them...)
