Minor surgical procedure tomorrow
Hi girls. You may remember me complaining these last few months about an ingrown hair on my bikini line that has gotten infected & turned into a cyst. Well the cyst keeps getting infected & irritated b/c it's right on my bikini line where my underwear rubs it. So tomorrow I'm going to have it cut out at my dermatologist's office. It's a minor proceedure but I've never even had stiches much less been cut on purpose - except when I had my wisdom teeth pulled/cut out about 15 years ago. Since it's in such a sensitive area the doctor told me to expect to be out of work tomorrow. Please keep me & the doctor in your thoughts & prayers.
TIA
GeorgeAnne

Ouch!! That does sound rather unpleasant but at least it will fix the ongoing problem/pain. Hoping for a quick recovery for you!
p.s. Bring an ipod or something (assuming they aren't putting you under). I get all kinds of panic-y about needles/stitches/etc. and listening to music during the procedure helps take your mind off of it.
Good luck GeorgeAnne! You are going to do great and it will be such a relief to not have to deal with it anymore!
Lots of T's and P's for a speedy recovery!
