Someone shipped us a package and required a signature. They tried to deliver Monday-we weren't home. Notice said they would come between 12-5 on Tuesday.
Tuesday, I was home from 1-3, but UPS had already been here and I missed them. Said they would try again Wednesday before 10:30 am.
Left a note to say they could deliver to my next door neighbor, as he is home during that time.
Got home, have a new notice. Said neighbor wouldn't answer door. Got online and discovered they tried to deliver at 5:06 pm. I got home at 5:20 pm. Had they told me it would be after 5, I would've left work 10 minutes early.
Now I have to go pick it up before next Wednesday at the UPS facility, which is 45 minutes away in the bigger city and a complete inconvenience.
WTF.

I was able to go online and ask them to deliver to a different address for $5, so it is going to go to DH's office.
I hate feeling irritated about requiring a signature, because I know the gift giver was just being prudent, but it drives me crazy that they only deliver during business hours!
Oh I feel your pain. UPS is on my major shitt list these days.
I reported a package lost/stolen during the Christmas season. It was a $50 gift for Jane. The box was huge and heavy, not easily missed or lost. They made it seem like they thought I was lying about it all and, as a result of the report, put a 'freeze" on my address requiring that we sign for EVERY.SINGLE.PACKAGE we get. Until, forever. It never expires.
Thankfully our driver is awesome and I had a chat w/ him about it and now he leaves stuff on our back porch sometimes - but seriously. What a PITA.
