book post-I started reading a book this week
Ok girls. I finally started reading Iced by Carol Higgins Clark. It features the same character as her other novels I have been reading. I only have a few more to read and I will have the whole series read and a new book is coming out soon!!! It is really good. It has a winter theme which is perfect for this time of year. What are you girls reading?
Re: book post-I started reading a book this week
For class : Dreamland (Sarah Dessen) and Audrey, Wait! (Robin Benway)
Not sure what I'll read for fun this week.
I just finished The Fault in Our Stars. It's about a teenager with terminal cancer, but it's not a typical "cancer book." I liked it, but I had heard that it was amazing, so I had high expectations and it didn't blow me away.
I have heard great things about this book too. But I am not the biggest fan of the author, John Green. I want to read it, but I am not going out of my way to get it!
I am reading Tatiana and Alexander. It is the 2nd book in a trilogy. It's a historical fiction book set during WWII. This book goes back and forth between what is going on in the lives of the 2 characters. I am just waiting for them to meet again! I cannot get enough of this book!
I am listening to House Rules by Jodi Picoult. I used to read her books all the time but was not thrilled with a few and got away from them. So far I am enjoying this one. The one character has aspbergers (sp?). Listening to it is neat because each character is read by a different person just like she changes the font when you read the books.
Good choice! The movie comes out March 23rd.
I am re-reading Anne of Green Gables b/c it "Classic" book packing on the nook.
I just finished re-reading The Hunger Games...I love that series and can't wait for the movie! I also. Recently finished Bossypants by Tina Fey. I liked it...it was a quick upbeat read, but I wasn't necessarily blown away. Parts of it were super funny...but parts just kind of dragged.
Now I'm reading Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay. It seems lik it's going to be tough to get through only because it'll be so emotional to read.
my read shelf:
AMAZING book.
I'm not reading anything outside of school right now b/c our life is so crazy (grad classes, work, kiddo and DH is adjuncting at the local CC this semester too...)
House Renovations
Married Bio
I am a gluten-free, gun-toting wife! :P
I love you, Daddy...2/24/1953 to 2/13/2011
