Cable TV service...What works and what sucks?
I could really use some recs.
In my experience, Time Warner (as you could tell from my post below) sucks the big one.
AT&T was great (DVR could record 4 shows at once) but it was $$$ and we had random DVR issues for most of our time with them.
Re: Cable TV service...What works and what sucks?
We've had Verizon FiOS for over 6 yrs now and LOVE it. We actually used to use a broadcast antenna on our roof until FiOS became available- we were the first people on our block to switch over back then and since then more people have dropped Optimum and gone to FiOS. I really like them and whenever I call to negotiate a better price they are always good about it and I usually do get $ off.
I know I sound like a commercial- but I don't work for them! LOL! We just really like them.
This is totally regional, because Time Warner, AT&T, Cox, etc are not available in my area.
We can only have the options of Verizon and Comcast. We used to have FiOS and LOVED it. At our new house, FiOS isn't available so we have Comcast and it's annoying. It is temperamental and never does what I want it to (won't record shows I set, on demand won't work for days at a time, etc).
