Growing up there was a girl a couple years older than me with the same first and last (maiden) name as me. There was always confusion. We banked at the same bank so I had to have my middle initial always on everything, etc.
Well, today I get an email that was a response from a company to another person with my same first and last maiden name regarding her application with them. Our email addresses are exactly the same except that she spells LindsEy with an "E" instead of an "A" like me. Her resume was attached to the email. Seems like a bad mistake on the company's part. So I replied to the email and to her saying it came to the wrong person.
Thank goodness I changed my last name when I got married!

Wow - that other girl should be glad you're as honest and un-creepy as you are! I'd hate for someone to mistakenly have my info.

Wow, that's crazy.
My aunt and step mother have a similar problem. Both are Karen Lynne SameLastName... And the weird part is that they both bank at the same bank as a third Karen SameLastName who is no relation. And it's not like the last name they have is common.
THIS!!
I have to admit, I like my name WAY better since I changed it, but it is a lot more common than my maiden name.
Your maiden name is common up here too, and I actually do know someone by that name lol.
