One of out reps. just came in with a rose for every lady in the office for V-Day. I thought it was nice! I can't even remember the last time I got flowers from DH. We don't do V-Day, and his perspective on flowers is "well flowers just die"." I some times secretly wish DH was more romantic.

Honestly, I don't like receiving flowers on Vday because some people feel obligated to buy them (i.e. an ex-bf that was an hour and a half late to our Vday day because he was trying to find a place that still had roses available) and DH is totally aware. I'd rather have "just because" flowers randomly throughout the year.
Ohio huh? I'll say Hi to him for ya if he's near my town. That sucks that you guys will be away from eachother. At least it's only for a hallmark holiday and not something major like a B-day or an anniversary.
