DH has made the decision to go to Ohio next week so I am all alone on Valentine's Day. Here is what I have planned:
1) We still have a Tango class lesson left from last years dancing lessons. They are having a Valentine Tango lesson class at the studio we were at with free champagne.
2) Mani and Pedi
3) Pampering myself by a facial and soaking in the bathtub till I get all wrinkly.
4) I have some gift cards to Victoria's Secret that I have yet to use. I am thinking either some lingerie shopping or sports bra shopping. (if you ever tried VS sporty wear the bras are heavenly! My best running bra ever!)
What do you and your other half have planned for Valentine's Day?
Re: S/O Valentine's Day
We do not celebrate valentine's day on the 14th.. THere's just too much going on that day. We dont' need a commercialized day to tell each other that we love one another.
We'll likely go out on a date later on in the week. I'm planning on a couples massage for sometime that week. And I'll likely bake a cake or something like that.
As it should be! My bestie is making a big deal of it and I am not sure I understand why. When I was single, it was a time to pamper myself at home and do absolutely nothing. Now that I am married, it is the opportunity to make up for lost nookie time. I ask him never bring me gifts, just come home ready to "work".

I really hate Sweetest Day. That 15 year old holiday is a joke.
It is on a Tuesday this year, which is a school day AND game night for him, so I will be alone on the actual day. I will probably make myself something good to eat and watch The Biggest Loser like I do on a normal Tuesday.
We are talking about making this Sunday our little date night, and going out for sushi or steaks.
This Saturday we're going to a black-tie gala then staying in a fancy hotel overnight. On VDay we're exchanging little gifts and having a nice dinner at home.
I just bought DH's card this morning, we don't usually give each other anything. We're going out to dinner tonight instead of Tuesday.
We're going out to one of our fave restaurants on Saturday to celebrate our anniversary. On Tuesday we'll make a special dinner and enjoy a quiet night together at home.

I have no clue what we are doing. I got him a pair of snoppy heart boxers and I am going to get him some Jelly Bellys because he loves those.
We are having a fancy dinner on Saturday night here:
