it's a sad day for my friend...prayers needed

My friend (and former BM) was seven weeks pregnant this week and lost her baby yesterday morning. Please keep her in your prayers...she's called many times throughout the past 24 hours and just cried and cried and cried. We've talked about it a lot and she wants to plant something in her yard a la The Help - does anyone know what flowers/plants are a good representation for a circumstance like this?

I wish I could do more for my friend - this was never supposed to happen for her. Things were supposed to be difficult for me - not for her...this was supposed to be perfect for her. She said her heart is in a lot of pain...I can't even begin to imagine...

She should plant forget-me-nots

There are some that are Perennial that come back every year and they make for a lovely flower.

This makes my heart ache. Jeni, you & I both know how hard it is to get pregnant (dani too) and to feel such joy & excitement only to have it followed by such sadness must be devestating. I think planting forget-me-nots is a wonderful idea. Hugs to her.

Aw that's terrible. I'll def pray for her. I like the idea of the forget me nots, they are beautiful. The only other thing I can think of would be a small flowering shrub or tree - that would last a long time.
