Is $18 a lot for 6 pairs of ankle socks? I cannot remember the last time I paid for these suckers.

yes, that is a lot to me, unless they are magical ankle socks that don't ever stop feeling fuzzy on the insides.

I am also cheap and by bundles of maybe 24 for that price, because the H goes through them like crazy and we wear about the same size in socks.

I don't think that is too much for 6 pairs. I have paid more for good socks that will last and not get holes quickly.

The kind I get are just plain white so I guess that's why they are so inexpensive.

If they're special athletic socks from a sports shop, not a bad price. Just plain, colored cotton socks...pricey.
