As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Job Update
Thank you to everyone for your support on my job situation these past few months. So many of you sent me job leads, helped w/my resume/cover letter, just asked updates etc. You girls rock!
New job: I gave a counter offer on the salary and they accepted. Yay for not being afraid to ask. 
I start in 2 weeks.
Current job: I gave them my notice today. It was actually harder than I thought it would be. I really like and respect them, it just wasn't what i needed professionally. They were extremely supportive. They obviously understood, but expressed how much they value me both personally and professionally and how sorry they were that business wasn't picking back up in time for me to decide to stay They said they knew it was a risk they were running and they were sorry they couldn't do more. They thanked me for how much I have helped them and offered any help & support that I need in the future. We talked for awhile.
They're also keeping me on as a freelancer for any communication pieces they need since I know the tone of the brand so well and I'm doing all of the writing now. This is stuff I can knock out quickly and make some extra money. All and all it went even better than expected.
