Help me
I need to start dressing more adult and less teenager. I want to start looking more grown up. I shop at places like Old Navy and JCP and I will consider Target (ours has pretty much nothing in it). I'm holding out on jeans, but I like boot leg jeans. I have a few pair of skinny jeans and I wear those to dinner.
I just re-emptied my closet realizing I don't wear a lot of what I have. And generally when I go shopping, its to replenish clothes I already have so I get rid of what I'm replacing.
So in a nutshell, help me (online window) shop (for now). thaaaaaaaaanks

Could you be more specific? Are you looking for suggestions for stores to shop at? Particular pieces? What kinds of things are you looking for (for example, casual clothes, work wear, cocktail attire, etc)? I think we just need a little more to go on here.

Well, casual clothes. Its warm here in Texas from March on. Also, for a new job I may never land ever lol.
Also, we just booked our cruise so stuff for on the boat and while we're in Mexico.
I think Ann Taylor Loft is a good place to start. They have more grown-up clothes and range from casual to dressy. They also have really good sales quite often.
Ann Taylor is another good choice, particularly for building a work wardrobe. It can be pricey, but if you hit the sale racks you can find some great deals.
Macy's is also great and has quite a range from casual to dressy, as well as stuff at a lot of different price points. Just stay out of the Junior's section if you are thinking you want to dress less like a teenager.
For online only, I love modcloth.com, bodenusa.com, and eshakti.com. Modcloth has more stuff that tends toward the juvenile, but they have plenty of stuff that's grown up. Boden is kind of pricey, but you can often find online coupons, and their stuff is very fun and unique. Eshakti is great because you can customize the clothes.

For a more formal dress, here's a suggestion. I have one of these dresses (mine is in chiffon, but I don't think they make it in that anymore). It's a really great basic and flattering dress, and it comes in lots of colors.
