how long do these hormones last?!

Holy sh!tballs. I was just watching Friday Night Lights and there was this part where one of the characters started talking about the book The Giving Tree and I actually found myself tearing up because I love that book so much hahah! It's been 3 months already, I'm ready for things to get back to normal. I hate crying. Especially over stupid things lmao.

Re: how long do these hormones last?!

  • It depends.  If you are nursing, it takes a bit longer than people who are bottle feeding.  It usually took me about 4-6 months.

  • Yup. Nursing. ALL the time it feels like.

  • I haven't noticed that I am overly emotional but I didn't have the "typical" pregnancy emotions either.

I didn't have "typical" symptoms either. Just hormones.

I should have phrased that better. I meant the crazy moodiness/crying/trying to kill people that the loons on the bump were always posting about.

I didn't have that either.  As always, the loons on the bump seem to have every symptom.

I found that I could barely post on my monthly board just because I couldn't relate to all of the complaints they had. Though I did cry 2 or 3 times during my pregnancy.

  • With both of my pregnancies I was never hormonal or crazy, but this time around breastfeeding makes me super weepy. If I'm nursing the little one and DD1 is around doing something cute or just looking cute (which is pretty much all of the time) I get all choked up and hold back tears so she doesn't freak out that mama is crying...or think I'm weird.
