Well, this episode hurt my Damon and Elena shipping heart.

I'm actually happy Damon slept with Rebekah in the end though, its pointless for him to be all mopey pining after Elena when she is torn between him and Stefan and she treats Damon like crap. Plus, vampire sex is hot, lol.

I really thought mama original was playing Elena and the bind would be that none of the originals could be killed, but that last scene with Finn makes me think its true. Still, as far as we know the only way to kill an original was lost when Klaus killed Mikael (right?) so I wonder how they will work around that.

I'm loving Klaus going after Caroline. I'm glad she's giving him a hard time and not just falling into his arms, but I love him courting her. The drawing and note at the end was perfect.

So no one cares that Damon basically saved Matt's life? Yeah, he wasn't smart about it but if he hadn't intervened I'm sure Matt would be dead.

I just love Elijah, please don't kill him off again show!

Elena has been getting on my nerves lately. Pick a side. I really don't even care which anymore.

I loved the ball, the dresses were lovely. I always like the dance themed episodes.

I guess as much as I hate angst, it's what brings the stefan and elena dynamic to life for me. I am LOVING the stefan character this season, a real first. I would be happy to see them back together (which coming from me is a big step LOL).

I'm loving Stefan this season too. Which to me means I like him better without Elena. I'm afraid if they get back together it will ruin him again. But maybe if Damon and Elena get together it will ruin Damon. Who knows. I just want one good relationship on this show because right now we have none. They've broken everyone up and its kind of depressing, lol.

Vampire sex may be hot, but I hate Rebekah. DH said he wished it was on HBO because the sex scene would have been much better Wink

I always hated Stefan until this season. I like him with common sense!

I loved the dresses this episode!

I really want to know who is killing members of the council. I missed Alaric this episode!

I really enjoyed the ball. I didn't expect Mama Witch to have that kind of an angle. I love Elijah and I don't want him to die!!!!!!!!! (Yes, all those exclamation points are necessary.) I'm sure mama witch has her own way of killing the originals. She gave them life so I presume she knows how to take it.

I still love Stefan. Damon looked delicious in his tux. I'd like to sympathize with Elena and her problems having two brothers in love with her but...really? No. Share.

I really like this side of Klaus with Caroline but I adore Caroline and Tyler so....

I want Elena to choose Damon, but I am guessing she will eventually end up with Stefan. I felt bad for Damon when he told her he loved her and she reacted the way she did.

I knew that Momma Witch had something up her sleeve, but I didn't guess that it would be to kill her children. I was really hoping that Elena would tell Elijah, but since she didn't, I am guessing the upcoming episodes will be about her feeling torn as to whether or not to save them.

I am liking Klaus now and hope he keeps charming Caroline.

I'm so Team Stefan so I'm rotting for Elena to finally chose him. I thought for sure they were going to kiss at the end. Ugh, the sexual tension!

You know, I really loved Caroline and hottie Tyler together, but now I'm feeling torn because I've started to see how hot Klaus is and I like that he is trying to court her and the note/picture at the end just won me over. Oh, the choices, the choices!

I missed Alaric too, but I was happ not to see Dr. Fell/Nanny Carrie, she annoys me.

BTW, anyone notice Lexi is on 90210? I took me awhile to figure out who she was. I love how the CW always casts within their "pool." Like you always see actors from one CW show, eventually end up on another. And anyone notice that they are often together in movies? Like Jessica Lowndes, Annalynne McCord and Chace Crawford in the Haunting of Molly Hartley. There are other movies that I can't think of. I don't watch a lot of other tv networks, so not sure if this crossing over is the norm for networks.

I noticed they do that a bunch. I like it. I love seeing how people can play different characters. I thought it was funny reading how many of the cast actualyl wanted the part of Damon. I think "tyler", "matt", "stefan" all auditioned for the part. I'm so glad they went with Ian.

I'm just so irritated with Elena, lol. Really, you are going to blindly trust Esther, the Original witch and the woman who tried to kill you? There is a reason Damon doesn't trust you to make decisions, you are reckless and just plain dumb. I've always wanted Damon and Elena together but I am starting to think he deserves better.

Although, I will be irritated if they don't go there with Damon and Elena. Its not a love triangle if Stefan is always the only one Elena wants. Then its just the Stefan and Elena show with Damon pining after her like a sad little puppy. I'm sure in the end they will have her end up with Stefan, but lets have a little Damon loving too

I loved this ep, but I love all of them! It looked like Elijah did't actually drink the champagne. I also got a feeling that he didn't believe Elena when she said Esther didn't have ulterior motives.

Also really liking the Klaus that's into Caroline. I foresee a love triangle with Klaus, Caroline, and Tyler. Will also make it interesting if and when Klaus is supposed to die.

I agree with all of this. Elijah isn't stupid, and I really think he didn't believe the lies Elena was telling him.

RE: Esther trying to kill Elena... remember the ghost episode with Vicki, when she convinced Vicki to kill Elena and told Vicki she could stay in the real world if she did? We obviously didn't know it was Esther at the time, but they did say it was the Original Witch on the other side calling the shots.

Elijah did drink it. I didn't think he had either but I read an interview with someone from the show and she said that he DID drink it. They all did and there's zero chance he didn't.

I enjoyed this episode. Loved the ball, dresses, etc. I had to roll my eyes at Elena taking both Stefan and Damon's arms. I am starting to want her with Damon more and more.

I can't stand Rebekah.

I missed Tyler.

I dont think Elijah really drank the champagne either. I really really really dont want him to die for real. It would break my heart.

Its so weird that I can go from hot to cold extremes on Klaus. Usually I hate him, but put him in a scene with Caroline and its like he just needs a good cuddle.

The Elena/Stefan/Damon thing is making me crazy. Usually I love Damon and Stefan drives me nuts, but in this ep is was the opposite. I have no idea how that's all going to play out and now I have mixed feelings on it.

I really like all of the originals, except Klaus, It's going to be crazy if they really kill all of them off.
