They are pretty much packed for out trip to England...in MAY! They love to pack their suitcases so often they just pack to go somewhere random. I have to convince DS that he cannot put all his jeans in their b/c he needs to wear them for the next 2+ months.

HA!!! that is hysterical and adorable!
maybe have him make a list of the things he wants to pack (but obviously still needs to use/wear) in the next few months.
Making a list is a good idea, also good for him to practice his writing and spelling.
When he was first starting to write at about 3yo he made a list of places he wanted to go - I don't remember all of the places but it involved India, Malta and Alaska.
My friend and I are going to France in 6 weeks; she's been packed since Christmas!

I used to love keeping my clothes in my suitcase when I was a kid. I'd pack for summer vacation in March and then pick my clothes out of my suitcase to wear each morning. :-)
