    I really like El Azteca and El Charro in Ankeny. Both are pretty good. Guadalajara is okay, and I am not a fan of Cazador.

    El Charro and Guadalajara are our picks. El Charro, I believe, is the one we've been to the last few times though and have changed their chips. I don't think they are making them any more as they taste generic and bland.

    We like Guadalajara for their lunch buffet.  But honestly, we drive to El Rodeo when we want Mexican, we are not a fan of most of the Mexican options in Ankeny.  El Rodeo is worth the drive for us. Smile

    El Azeteca is my favorite.  I loved the Cazador's in Ames when I was in school but haven't been to the one in Ankeny in a long time.
