Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

SF: Challenge
Dear my lovely niners, I propose a challenge to all those in need of an intervention. You can either accept the challenge or say "Shiiiit Kelly, you ain't my mama, so shut it!". The challenge, if you choose to accept, is as follows. Every time you feel a strong urge or about to purchase something, STOP and instead transfer that amount (of the item about to be purchased) into your savings account. If you would like, we can check in next Friday to see how much you all saved. The winner will recieve *drumroll*....a pat on the back, virtual style

What if we have a joint savings account without access to deposit or withdraw? Example: Our savings account is with ING and it's under Chris' name, and I don't have the information for ir (and kinda don't want it).
Could we, say, put that money towards an outstanding CC balance perhaps?

I second this. Would be more beneficial for me.
That is an awesome idea! That way you will save even more money in the big picture because of interest
