Grey's - 2/9
I really enjoyed most of the storylines in this episode. I loved Bailey's Valentine's Day...I thought it was perfect. I also enjoyed the Christina and Owen angst. I know I am among only a few people who like them together, but I would be happy if they could make it work.
Oh, Teddy. I am so sad for her. She is so lost.
I am ready for Mark and Lexie to get back together now. Enough is enough. I did love when he said, "Sofia, your friend is here!"
When Lexie looked in that locket and it said, "Will you marry me?" I definitely cried. Oh, that was sad.
All in all, I am really enjoying this season!

Disclaimer what I am about to say is not the episodes fault. It was a great episode!
Now with that said I was p!ssed off the whole time lol. I hated everything. Why you ask, H is working overseas and it brought out feelings that just made things hard lol.
But it had its moments and I love it lol.
I totally loved this episode, especially since my brother and I were in one of the scenes!!! That's me talking to my brother sitting in a chair as Hunt and Christina are getting into the elevator
After watching the taping, it was neat to see how everything flowed together!
Oh that's really cool.
Hunt and Christina make me really sad. I want her to be happy but I don't think they should be together.

I haven't watched a full episode of Grey's in a very long time. Over a year, at least. I watched this episode though. I enjoyed it. It broke my heart with that locket but I wanted to smack that girl the entire time. She was a bad actress too. Lol.
I feel so bad for Teddy. I hope Owen and Cristina can work things out but I feel like what they want from life is SO different that I can't even imagine how they would assimilate their wants to compromise. He'll always want kids and I can't imagine her wanting kids. I really hope they don't change this about her. I love it. Not every woman wants children, a white picket fence, and all that crap.
I like Mark and Lexie too. I loved when he said that to Sofia. She's so cute.

I loved last night's episode. I'm so happy that Meredith and Derek are finally happy.
I wish Sloane & Lexie would just get together already. Ugh.
The locket was heartbreaking...just horrible. I cried.
I hope that Owen & Christina split. I hate them together. Owen in general drives me nuts.
I've always like Owen and Christina together. I know a lot of people don't but I think they balance each other. The issue of him wanting kids and her not is a big deal so who knows what will happen.
The locket with at the end was horrible, sad horrible. I'm kind of happy they didn't show her. That would of been too much her the poor lady.
I do like Mark and Lexie together, but hate the drama that Marks gets himself into. I'be grown to like her with Avery. Are they even still together?

agreed. I want to see that actor more places, like in my bed.
I love Owen and Christina together...always have. Christina...she is used to saying things like, "I'm a surgeon, I'm gifted, if he wants to leave so be it--I'm not going to beg." Which has always read to me like she knows she's smart, gifted and she'll bury the emotional side of herself. She will fight for those intellectual things (notice how she fought to get back on Hunt's surgery?) but walk away on the emotional and just be in pain. I LOVED how she didn't just let Owen leave..but let him know she cared.
They need to get to some place of peace on the kids situation.
I hated her and Burke together because he wanted a happy homemaker who would always be the student to his teacher, and she knew it. Now she is standing her ground and he is standing his--but they love each other and want to make it work--it's a bumpy road! I think it's well played actually (clearly lol).
I loved Bailey's "Romancy" evening at the end. That part was great. The anesthesiologist typically rubs me a bit the wrong way for some reason (too much "I know you Bailey," I think), but he did a great job with the back up plan!
The necklace eventually got returned to that girl? Wow. That would suck huh.
Poor Weber. I felt sorry for him.
This was the most heartbreaking part to me--Weber telling Bailey that his wife didn't even recognize him. Alzheimer's. God.
I also wanted to punch Lexi in the face this episode. JUST TELL HIM, YOU TWIT. Seriously.

I bawled through this entire episode, I swear. I love that Christina is finally showing some emotion towards another human being other than Meredith.
I want Lexi and Mark to get together. I'm glad they got together on Valentine's day.
The locket thing was the saddest thing ever. I saw the spoilers on this board before I watched it, and it still made me cry.
I feel bad for Weber. Valentine's day is such a big deal to him with it being his anniversary and all, but then to have Adele not recognize him had to be really hard.
I liked Bailey's Valentine's day. I kind of figured he had something up his sleeve when he told her it was ok to push dinner back. I like that he knows the type of person Bailey is.
Am I the only one disturbed by Bailey & Whatever-His-Name-Is? I feel like it's very Burke & Christian, circa the beginning of the series.
This doctor is all, "I know you so much better than you know yourself. I know what you want, even if you don't. And if you're not open and warm and romantic, that's ok, because I am!"
Just reminds me a lot of Burke, and I feel like a year from now, Bailey is going to need to say, "YOU DON'T KNOW ME BETTER THAN I KNOW MYSELF!"
Idk, something about it just really bothers me.
As for the rest of the episode, eh, I didn't think it was their best writing in a while.
I think the difference is that Burke was so used to seeing himself as the "great and powerful Burke" that he couldn't see Christina as perfect in herself, and that he didn't needed to "teach" her how to be more open or whatever.
I think Bailey's guy meant he knows and APPRECIATES who she is period. that he loves who she is and is not bothered by the realities of that, even when he has to get creative about plans/dates, or it's inconvenient.
I knew instantly that the car accident guy with the selfish bittchy GF was going to die, and I had a feeling a marriage proposal was going to be in that necklace somewhere, after he said "did you look at the necklace?" That was sad.
I think Lexie and Mark need to get back together too, and I hope Cristina and Owen do work things out. I'm one of the ones that likes them together.
