not kidding myself re:March madness

I barely get on here, scheduled acts of posting pictures will never happen.

Instead of saving them for MM, here's a few

  • Holy crap, he looks so much like you especially in that second pic.
  • I think so, too, Winged.   I think he looks far more like me than my husband.  Except comparing baby pictures it's hard to tell because he is seriously rolypoly.   I hav eto go out and buy overalls for him today because he's very uncomfortable wearing pants.

  • Yeah, Lila is definitely more your H and he is more you! They are such beautiful kids!
  • They're beautiful, Sam!
  • They are gorgeous.
  • Thanks guys!  We're getting some pro pics done on Sunday, I promise to post some when I can.

  • God they are really adorable Sam.

  • Holy adorable kids!  How's it going, Sam?

  • pretty good, actually!  Now that James is sturdy enough to put on the floor to play with Hurricane Lila in the room things have hit a groove.   He's an incredibly good natured little soul.

I had parent teacher day at school yesterday and all the teachers said Lila is an unbelievable happy little girl.

Andy and I are doing very well.  We never did go to counselling, but we're both aware it would help us and open to it.  The problem is timing.   It feels like we barely have time to breathe, let alone adding something to the schedule.  When things are good it drops downt he priotities list.   Sometimes I wonder if what we need is just time alone together so we can actually TALK.   by the end of the day you just shut down and either retreat to books or TV.

  • I WANT KINDER SANTA.

They are so cute! I can't believe how big Lila is now.

I bet her FUPA's name is Shane, like the gunslinger/drifter of literature.--HappyTummy
  • oh sam. I really hope the best for you and Andy. I know about those highs and lows though and I worry that sweeping it under the rug won't help, although I certainly understand the timing thing is so hard.

I know.  He knows.  Even during the lows the talk of counselling is for improving things, not avoiding the end.  I guess during the highs you start thinking "if it ain't broke, don't fix it?"

But i know.   I do.  sigh.   See you in a month when I'm railing again

  • Sam, they're just adorable. I love them.

I hope things with you and Andy continue to be good. At least knowing that you're both open to counseling will make it easier if it looks like things start going downhill.
