Vegas Bachelorette, need help planning!
In Sept (labor day weekend) we'll be going to Vegas for my sisters bachelorette party which will be about 10 girls. I've never been to Vegas so planning this is a bit of a challenge.
The only thing that we would like from a hotel is for it to be on the strip and a nice pool. Any suggestions for a hotel or anything else we could do? We all are on a budget too, so anywhere we can save would be great.
TIA

That weekend is likely to be busy in Vegas as it is opening weekend for college football so don't wait too long to book.
Personally we love The Mirage, it's not ginormous, great location and the pool area is fantastic. They now have the regular pool, the adult party pool and last time there was also another adult pay-pool that was more low-key. I don't recommend any of the restaurants in the hotel, however, there are some great ones within walking distance.
FYI - The MGM has a great pool area, however, it's a HUGE hotel and I've heard they are completely renovating it and am guessing that's going to start sooner than later.
Most of the strip hotels have great pools; the ones that stand out that I would NOT recommend because of their lame pools are Paris, NYNY, and Planet Hollywood.
I planned a bachelorette party for 2 girlfriends in Vegas and we stayed at MGM Grand. It has a great pool area, especially since there are multiple pools and a lazy river. The Mirage also has a great pool area. The Mirage, in my opinion, has the better Strip location. I definitely agree with a pp who suggested signing up for the hotel email list. I get tons of emails each week with really good deals.
I totally ditto a previous response to avoid Planet Hollywood if you want a good pool area as theirs is not good at all.
Mirage would be perfect for what you are looking for. That is our go-to for group trips because of the great pool, location and it is reasonable in price. Mirage also has great cabanas at the pool (book early).
I personally love Mandalay Bay as it as a great pool, good restaurants and awesome spa but it is more expensive and less centrally located.
Actually I'd try the Flamingo, only the newer GO rooms though which are really nice and 'girly'. The location is fantastic, mid-strip, and the pool area is really nice, very tropical with waterfalls; usually very packed with a fun party atmosphere. This would definitely be an affordable place to stay...
Also check out THEhotel at Mandalay Bay, the rooms are suites, plus there's an amazing pool area with a man-made beach and all. It's on the strip but further down.
