Just got back from the vet..

*Update!*(Kind of TMI, just warning!)

Well that was quite the adventure... Took Snickers to the vet, and they diagnosed him with gastritis (they also semi-suspect a food allergy, because he has had an on again off again rash). They gave him 2 injections, for anti-vomitting, and antacid. Then they sent us off with antacid pills for the next 4-5 days.

THEN...we were walking around looking at allergy friendly food, when he proceeded to have very bloody poop all over the floor at the vets. (Poor guy, you could tell he was very miserable, and upset about doing that indoors) I scooped it up in a bag and brought it back to the counter, and they gave it to the vet to take a look. She said there was a lot of blood, and that he had some kind of infection or other parasite etc. She gave him a antibiotic injection and oral antibiotics. We are also supposed to attempt to keep him separated from our other dog until they can run tests on the sample.

Thanks for all the T&P's! I'm still worried about him, but hopefully the medicine helps.

Ugh! Poor thing! At least he had the bloody stool at the vet's office so they could test it right away! Sending lots of get well vibes/drool to Snickers!

Poor little guy!

I hate that he had an accident, but thank goodness it happened at the vet so they could see that something else was wrong. I hope he feels better soon!
