I am bummed (puppy related, yes, again)
Well, the little puppy we considered adopting got adopted today. And although I am very excited for him and know he is going to a good home, I am a little sad.
Further, I have been to three shelters this week and can't seem to find "the one." I have no idea what I am looking for, just having an open mind and can't seem to find one. I did find one on the Humane Society website but I guess he has been having aggression issues which won't work with SD. Dasher is so gentle and sweet with SD, I do worry our new addition won't be as wonderful.
Anyhoo....I have been watching the interstate, just hoping that another dog comes barreling towards us....

I'm not sure if you have heard about this but the Central Oklahoma Humane Society is doing this My furry valentine adoption event this weekend. It's at their adoption center and all dogs, cats, kittens and puppies will be free. They do this from time to time and have really good success with it. They will be open from 11-7 on Saturday and 12-5 on Sunday. I'm not sure what you are looking for but it might be worth it to go look around and see!
My aunt is actually fostering one of the little dogs that will be at this event and he's adorable!!
I'm sorry the other guy was taken, even though he went to a good home it still sucks!
Bummer. I guess it just wasn't meant to be. I hope you find the perfect pup soon!
Side note: If you want an orange kitty, there's one that lives in a dumpster at the place I tutor
Poor little guy (or girl). One of the janitors gives him food sometimes. I didn't see him last night so I'm hoping she took him home.
