DH and I saw it this afternoon. I liked it but 30 minutes in I said to DH, "WHY did I want to see this? It's my worst nightmare!" And afterward we both imagined out loud how horrible it would be if one of us lost our memory after an accident and couldn't remember the other but instead an ex. Suuuper depressing scenario.
However the movie itself was not that depressing outside of the concept. Naturally it had sad moments but I didn't cry or anything (and I am known for crying at commercials for Publix).
I will be curious to see how others liked it. I could be biased because I really love Rachel McAdams. It's not going on my list of instant faves but I thought it was a good movie.
Channing Tatum = Yum.
And I still love Ben/Scott Speedman even though you're not supposed to like him in this movie.
Re: The Vow (no spoilers if you know the general plot)
My friend and I are planing on seeing it this weekend. I'm not that excited about seeing it. I do like Rachel McAdams. Glade to know it's good.
I think it's funny that she's in another romantic movie where she losses her memory.
Well that was just my experience......

Just got home from seeing it. I'll admit that I cried a few times. And I also turned to DH and said, "If I woke up in a hospital and Channing Tatum is sitting there saying he's my husband, I'd just go with it! And mentally high-five myself for scoring that."
lol

I teared up once!
Agree with Renata. I'd love to wake up and be married to that hottie haha.
Agreed! My friends and I all thought it was pretty unrealistic that she never once mentioned how stoked she was that at least her husband was ridiculously hot.
