I can't believe my baby is due one week from today!  It felt like time was moving so slowly, but now she is almost here!  Yay!

I had an appointment today, and it went really well.   Lucia's head is right down at my cervix, which hasn't started dilating yet, but is 50% effaced (getting thinner), which is good news.  Now I just need some more contractions to keep things moving.  I'm so excited!

    Yay!! Hopefully everything goes quickly now. Can't wait to see her!

     And I was wondering, do you say it like lucy-a or luc-ya?

    We say lu-/s/i-a, with the 's' sound in the middle.   We went back and forth between that and Lu - /ch/i - a, but liked the sound of the first one better.

    Thanks :)  I will definitely come on and let you guys know when things are starting (unless things get crazy at the beginning).  And then my labor buddy from my February board will update this board too!
