Guess I know for sure who my MIL is rooting for this election year. This makes me so mad. I really wish he would drop out and go away. I'm tired of hearing how fragile and submissive we should be.

He believes that women in the military, specifically fighting on the "front lines" (Whatever that means these days), will distract the menfolk from their mission because they will be too concerned about protecting them. Yeah.

?(It?s) because of that reason of a sort of natural inclination to not focus on the mission because of the natural inclination to want to protect someone because it?s natural within our culture,?? he told Curry.
The issue?is how men would react to seeing women in harm?s way or potentially being injured or in a vulnerable position and not being concerned about accomplishing the mission.??

Well, I guess they'd better get rid of all of the female police officers and firefighters as well. Women and their vaginas just keep getting in the way of men doing their jobs.

I'm not overly concerned, because I don't see him becoming our president even if he gets the nomination. The Republican primaries might be a byline in the news media, but the Presidential race will be top news and by then the nonsense will be mocked enough that there's no way he'd win.
And when was he in the military? I seem to have missed that part... what does he know about being on the front lines?
There's a number of Republicans who would have made great candidates (though personally I'd still vote for Obama) but this crop in the primaries just seems pathetic and weird. I'd love to see Colin Powell, or Condaleeza Rice, or any number of other politicians who are much more sane than these guys seem to be.

My man Sec Powell endorsed this president! He'd never run against him. And while I think Sec Rice is smart, she's tainted by her hawkish trot towards Iraq, not that I'd ever vote for her anyway. I liked Huntsman.
