I hate that it's Valentine's Day soon! lol I feel like I should get J something just because, well, we are seeing each other, but it's only been 6 dates, so I have no clue what to get that fits the time frame/where we are. We haven't talked about V-Day at all, but since we seem to be getting into the routine of seeing each other on Tuesdays, I'm sure he'll bring up seeing me on Tuesday whether he pays attention to the fact that it's V-Day or not.
WWYD?

Re: What do you get someone for V-Day that you just met?
nothing. wish him a happy valentine's day - in person if you are geting together. or call/text him if you aren't. i personally think it's too soon for a token or gift or even a card. you already are moving fast with this guy....so, try to be more light-hearted and breezy about this v-day.

no, it's totally fine if he gets you something and you don't have anything in return. you just thank him, flash a smile, maybe give him a kiss and wish him a happy valentine's day.
in any genuine, blossoming relationship - it won't matter that you don't have anything for him (in the case of this v-day..). if he gets you a little something, he should be delighted to do so and not be doing it to get something in return. you know?
Have you cooked for each other? Maybe gtg to make a nice dinner. Aside from that I would not get a gift.
::lurker...sorry::
I was thinking along these lines, but my thought was instead of dinner make him a plate of cookies. If he gives you something you'll have the cookies to give to him, and if not you simply have a plate of cookies to share. Yum.
I like this idea! I'm a big fan of baking for people, especially when it's new because there's thought and effort involved but it's not like you tried too hard.
Cookies would be good. He's not a huge sweets person, but I'm sure he'd eat cookies! I could get some red M&M's for the topper.
Great idea, thanks!
You could do a little basket of things that would allow you to make dinner together like pasta, good sauce (better than you would buy on sale for yourself), sparkling water or wine, jar of brushetta, bread and some chocolates.
You could also do a small gift card for something he enjoys like the movies, game stop, a restaurant.
You could also make a little gift bag with a bottle of champagne and two champagne flutes which you could share together.
