A pain in my right abdominal area that started about two hours ago. It's not too tender from pressure. It's gone from about a 3 on a pain scale to about a solid 6. It seems to (obviously) be getting a little worse. It's not unbearable pain, but definitely uncomfortable. Hurts a little more when I walk, but again I can push through it. Temp of 98.3 so no fever.

Re: Diagnose me
Mine too. Constipation is another guess. If you think that could be it laying on your left side can help.
If it keeps getting worse though or doesn't subside at all it's probably worth getting checked out.
Those are mine too, and possibly kidney stones. Though, I haven't ate anything today to make me gassy.
I always thought appendicitis would be excruciating pain and super tender when pressure is applied.
This. Or menstrual cramps.
When my appendix was infected it started off feeling like cramps and turned into fetal-position can barely move pain.

I am on my left side.. it's the most comfortable.
Ugh.. I hate hospitals (I know who likes them). On top of that H is TDY. Last time I was in the ER H was deployed and when the lady asked who my emergency contact was I just stared at her. I then proceeded to sob when she left the room... yeah I'm a baby.
Doesn't feel like cramps. It's like a fullness/stabbing feeling. And I'm mid cycle.
That's why I'm not thinking appendicitis, it's not like 'omg I can't move' pain.
That makes me think it's even more likely to be bowel related. Especially if you ate something new/different today, or haven't gone to the bathroom in a while. Obviously you don't need to share that.
Haha! Didn't eat much today actually and what I did wasn't abnormal, haven't had much of an appetite. And well.. the other isn't a problem. lol
I changed my name
Uh.. I guess it could be around that area.. It's the same general area as the appendix, no?
I was thinking this or appendicitis. When I had pain like that it turned out to be a super bad IBS flare, I thought I was going to die.
Is it closer to your ribs or is it lower like by your hip? If its closer to your hip I would think its appendicitis. By your ribs might be a gall bladder attack or gall stones.
The bolded. This was my first guess. It could be nothing, but being that its in the same area as your appendix I wouldn't pass it off as nothing if it continues to get worse. Better to be safe than sorry.

Oh yes I would say something bowel related then. I find when I have an IBS flare, which is what this sounds like, if I eat really mellow foods or drink some milk it helps some.
Definitely down near the iliac crest.
I guess I didn't think it was appendicitis because I don't have a fever, no nausea/vomiting, not unbearable pain.
I'll keep an eye on it, thanks guys!
Mid-cycle with that type of pain to me sounds like ovarian cyst. I have had them occasionally (when I was not on birth control - it does prevent them usually) and they are either on one side or the other (duh... but no, really...) and it feels like it's *almost* appendicitis, but not quite that bad.
Sometimes they can be dangerous, but not usually so bad that you couldn't wait until tomorrow to go to an urgent care clinic (rather than the hospital). They can confirm it with a basic exam. Obviously if it gets worse, get yourself to a hospital!
For me, a hot bath and a heating pad helped with the pain.
I do have back pain, but that's almost always constant. Especially my lower back.
Photo bomb, yeah!
