I did the same thing! My mom came in and wondered why she smelt so much bleach! Haha!
Last year, Korea proved to me that acid wash is back in fashion. Thankfully, it hasn't caught on in the States yet.

In other bad fashion/bleach news... H fell and stained his shorts with the dye-riffic Hawaii red dirt. After a bajillion attempts with oxy-clean he suggested I bleach them so that he had white shorts. I'm not sure what's worse: stained shorts or white.
