As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. I AM SO MAD.

Continental airlines won't refund the ticket the FIL didn't use to come home because he died, AND THEY WON'T TELL US WHY. They have NO explaination other than, "Your request has been denied."

1 - How do you deny something without an explaination?

2 - HOW DO YOU NOT REFUND THE TICKET OF SOMEONE THAT DIED ON THE TRIP?!

  • That is horrible! Is there any way you can talk to someone higher up who might be able to explain or do something further?

  • Wow! Have you tried talking to them in person? Honestly IMO this doesn't look good for them, because if it was me I wouldn't be flying with them anymore if I could help it at all. I'd even be telling them as much.

  • Oh, you definitely need to raise hell over this.  This is beyond bad for business.  Take it to someone in person (on the phone) and don't quit.

  • I would keep fighting this as well. Get someone on the phone or in person to get a reason for denying the request, first, and then continue to fight it.

  • GRRR!!! Continue to raise hell and keep fighting. That is completely ridiculous and I'd rip them a new one. Sorry you have to deal with all this!

    This. There is no reason for them not to refund his ticket. Give 'em hell! 

  • Ohh my gosh... I would RAISE you know what! That's terrible!!! They could at least give your family future credit... argh.

  • It just adds unneeded annoyance at an already difficult time.  I would hope that if you could talk to someone in person they would be willing to work with you, even in the name of good customer service regardless of their poilicies.  Sorry you have to deal with that.

  • I was just looking at tickets to DC on Continental. I won't be buying tickets with them. What a bunch of BS.
