This is my response. I am SO shocked and sad. And very worried for Bobbi Kristina.

I was really looking forward to the Grammys! I imagine that they're making big changes now.
Rihanna tweeted about how strange it is being at Grammy rehearsals tonight in light of this news. I am picturing the show producers working on tributes now as we speak...

Im sure there is a Grammy producer somewhere wishing she died a few days ago o they'd have more time to prepare a decent tribute.
MSNBC reported that they are planning a low key tribute involving Jennifer Hudson.
Yeah, I saw that Jennifer Hudson and Chaka Khan will be part of the tribute at the Grammys tonight.I really hope they don't sing one of her songs; if they really want to honor her, they should show clips of her singing. Jennifer Hudson has a nice voice and all, but Whitney's voice was incomparable.
Amen... Her voice was untouchable.
I was not shocked when I heard. Yes, it's sad, but it's what I expect to happen to most of these drug addicted celebs.
I loved her back in the day. Her voice was amazing.

I'm very sad, but not shocked either. I had heard about a week ago that Whitney was B-R-O-K-E--that her record label (either the old or the new) wouldn't give her an advance on her next album and that things were very, very grim for her. I hope (but wouldn't be surprise) that her death wasn't self inflicted. And I really hope her daughter will see the destruction drugs and alcohol has taken on both her parents lives and learn to live a happy life without either.
I always appreciated her amazing voice, and echo the sentiments that when she was "on" she was incomparable. Her version of the National Anthem is the musical contribution that I will best remember her for, and what I'm most thankful for her for doing. IMO, it's untouchable and the perfect version of that song.
