I just discovered this board today, and thought it
might be nice to introduce myself to all of you so I wouldn't feel like
such a 'stranger' posting here
I'm 26 and my DH is 28, and we were married on July 10, 2010
I'm
a 2nd grade teacher, and DH is a High School music teacher. We have a
Maltese puppy named Paisley...she was my Christmas present from DH this
year
We are TTC are first child, and have been dealt some pretty tough cards. I've seeing a specialist, and am waiting to have surgery on February 28th because I found out that both of my tubes are blocked. Huge bummer. I'm hoping that after the surgery we will be successfully able to conceive.

Hi there! I'm Kim, me and my DH Ziggy are the same ages as you and your DH, married on July 24th, 2010.
Your puppy is so cute!!!
We love when new people come on here, all the ladies here are so wonderful and supportive - they are some of the best friends I have! They have helped me through tons of tough things, including my Dad passing away last year, I can't tell you how much their friendship and support means to me.
Congrats on TTC, though I'm sorry you are having troubles. Wishing you the best of luck with your surgery and that it resolves everything for you guys.
Again, welcome and look forward to getting to know you more!

Hi, I'm Lisa. I'll be turning 26 in May, and I'm also a teacher- I'm currently subbing (mostly in 8th grade leave positions, though I'll be taking on a 6th grade leave next month, but I also teach 2nd grade religious ed on Saturdays). Oh and we were married the same weekend- we were 7-9-10.

That's awesome that you are a teacher, too! Was it hot the weekend of your wedding? I'm from Western PA and it was a scorcher! I thought I was going to melt at the altar. I guess that's what you get for having a July wedding - but teachers are kind of limited to the summer months!

Welcome! I'm Elisha and my DH is Andrew. I'm one of the older(ish) ladies on the board (32 next week) and also a teacher. I teach 3rd grade in Northern Virginia, but also taught in CA before moving here. The ladies here are incredibly supportive and friendly.

I work in a Univ as an academic advisor and DH just got a new job and he works in web/application development.
Everyone here is super nice. We just had a whole bunch of new babies born on this board and I think the first one (JMU Bride's?) is going to be one soon. We look forward to getting to know you!

I am a teacher too - there are a lot of us on this board! I teach high school English. My husband works in agriculture (Monsanto).
We are starting the house buying process soon (this summer is our goal) and will be getting a puppy shortly after!! Hopefully kids will follow!

My name is Laura, I've been posting here since the start but not regularly. I kinda pop in and out.
I'm 37, my DH is 31 we were married on July 17, 2010. I have two children Josh (13) and Cassidy (12 on the 29th) from a previous marriage and we have one daughter Jailynn (5, born on her daddy's BD). We live in North-western, Ontario, Canada.
I am an office manager, and my DH just started his own business as a flooring installer.
