NYC hotel and rest recs for a bachelorette party?

Hi ladies, I am working on planning a bachelorette party in May to NYC. It would be 4 or 5 of us. I am looking for the hip/trendy places to eat and stay (a few of us are sahm that need to experience life again, lol) I'll take whatever you've got! Bonus points for bar recommendations! Thank you :)

Re: NYC hotel and rest recs for a bachelorette party?

  • Hip/trendy hotels: Gansevoort (particularly the Meatpacking one), The Standard, Crosby Street Hotel, Soho Grand, Thompson (both of them), Bowery Hotel.  Basically, the hip/trendy hotels are in the hip/trendy downtown neighborhoods.  But they're all expensive.

Eating: The Dutch, RedFarm, Fatty 'Cue (the West Village location), Catch, Abe & Arthur's, Acme, Miss Lily's.  Older but still hip places: Pastis, Balthazar, Blue Ribbon

Drinks -- what kind of places do you want to go to?  Clubs? Bars (and what kind of bar)? Wine bars? Cocktail lounges?

  • +v+  thanks for the reply, we are drinkers, we don't discriminate. we'll drink mostly anything, anywhere. i'll take any and all ideas you have :)
