I'm starting to meet a lot of people, and need to give out my phone number and such. Would it be very strange to order cards with my information on them that I could just hand out to people? I can get them free from Vistaprint.

I think business cards are for business. If you have one, then no it isn't weird. If not, then it is weird.

I agree Honeydew here.

It wouldn't be weird for you to make "We've Moved" cards (like a 3"x5" or 4"x6", not business card size) to send to your family/friends back home. I suppose you could order extra and hand a few out to someone you wanted to also have your mailing address but idk how many new people you meet you'd want to have your address too.

I voted no because I would love to do the same, and wouldn't bat an eyelash if someone handed me a personal card. But I guess it really isn't done unless it's for a business. Hmm.

I love this idea... it's like back in the early 1900s when people would go visiting each others homes and pass the butler a card with their name on it so that the butler could announce them properly!! So much fun!

This. We got some for hubby that had a link to his youtube page and his phone number and name (of course) so he will have it on the fly as he meets people in the music industry.

It's hard to get people to remember your link to you music and a creative cards is noticeable in a pile of cards
