It's Sunday...what are you doing?

I'm having a loungey day at home alone. I've been watching the Notebook, which I find sweet but very lame at the same time...because I'm not a super gushy romancy person.

I'm also getting over severe bronchitis that I received at the hospital this week, so it is fairly difficult for me to do anything...clean, cook, etc. without hacking my lungs up.

I am going to color my mess of grey hair and take a long hot bubble bath. What are you all doing today?

Any way the wind blows...

Re: It's Sunday...what are you doing?

  • Completely being a bum on the couch! I did however go to a spin class this morning which I did not enjoy, but thought I would give it another shot. At least I burned enough calories to completely enjoy the Thin Mint girl scout cookies I broke down and bought yesterday :)

I have no desire to go back outside today (although I'll have to for my dog). It randomly got cold today - in the mid 30s I live in ATX so not very normal - and we even had some sleet and a few snow flakes! So I've been curled up on the couch under a blanket playing on the computer, reading, and watching TV. Nothing like a good relaxing end to the weekend!

  • Got my nails done this morning, went to my mom's for lunch, now I'm back home on the couch. I woke up sick, and hope I can kick it before it gets any worse. I hate being sick. This 50 degree weather in South Florida isn't helping either :(

Ooh Thin Mints :) I haven't had one in years and years but I was a girl scout for a long long time.

I just cut my knuckle shaving in the tub...yes, I shave everything. I'm that girl. Oof and nicks and cuts on my knuckles and toes are always just a little special part of me that I embrace. LOL.

I really want to walk to the corner store for a pack of cigarettes, but I'm trying to cut back and my car is out and about because I let the XBF borrow it because it is snowing like a wack job and his Eclipse doesn't like snow too much lol. I'm just bored and rambling :)

  • I spent the morning studying.  I just got back from a hot stone massage.  I needed it for my whiplash.  Later I'll take a bath and relax and take another muscle relaxer.

  • We took BF's Jeep up north this weekend for an off road ride, so we spent the morning driving home and then unpacked. The rest of the day will be spent lounging around and getting ready for the week! I'm currently watching the law & order SVU marathon on tv while BF and the pup nap!
  • Woke up early with the bf, because he had to leave to teach a rock climbing class to future climbing instructors. Decided to go to Yoga since I was up. Then grocery shopping, laundry and made a big crock pot full of turkey chili which we will eat for dinner when bf and ds get home (ds is with his dad this weekend).

I also took a quiz for one of my classes and did some reading for class. Then took a nap :)

  • Had breakfast with an older couple that BF and I are friends with (I made a strawberry chocolate almond French toast casserole which had potential, but was not sweet enough).

Went grocery shopping and cooked for a CW's baby shower tomorrow while BF cleaned his house.

Then some naptime, and, ahem, other activities, and then we watched Rango.  Now, I'm at my dance studio for classes and job #2.
