I took a Cephalon omlette pan as carry on a couple of years ago with no problem. You should not have a problem. You may have to open it for them that would be it.
I'd be more worried about getting it through the insane customs checks on the other side! But considering the customs inspector who assessed our "brown cheese" situation was actually Danish, you probably have a good shot. ...Or maybe not. She let the brunost go saying, "Oh god no! I don't want it!" but just like Smash! commercial, she might have needed to sample the butter cookies.
