London Flat Hunt :(
After 15 happy months in our current flat, we have to move because the landlord is selling... We love our neighborhood - Earl's Court - and don't want to leave the area.
Flats are expensive here, and it seems that we got a good deal last time. Our current rent is 425/week for a two bed garden flat. We're looking for the same, and it looks like we'll need to spend 500/week... So we're willing to downsize to a one bed, but really want the outdoor space for our grill and dog.
I know it's a long shot, but does anyone know of a flat in our area that's coming available in March or April? Advice?

We're flat hunting right now too - have you thought about moving out into Zone 2 or 3 at all to get better bang for you buck?
We're looking to spend ?2000/month for a 3 bed house in Ealing.

Yes, we've thought about it. But we just LOVE it here. The commute is perfect for DH: straight shot on the Piccadilly line. We have shops and restaurants RIGHT outside the door, nearly ALL of our friends (seriously, four couples) live within two blocks, and we like our gym. So herein lies the problem: we're too happy here!

A huge Amen to that. WTF - was there a notice that went out to landlords everywhere that NOW is the time to sell? We have to be out by mid-march. I'm super bitter!
