When I was a kid, my friend had a pet skunk named Giggles.

I didn't know this, but it explains why I'm seeing so many... I'd never seen one until this year, but where I grew up we had this plant called "skunk cabbage" and I kept driving down the roads thinking "oooh, they must have it here too!" because the smell is EXACTLY the same ...turns out it was just little dead skunks, aww.
I am probably in the minority but when I am driving and smell a skunky smell, it sometimes excites me and makes me think of really skunky weed.
I am sure I would feel differently had I actually been sprayed or been forced to smell it for a long period of time, though. hah
