What is your "work from home" job?

Hi, me and my husband are experimenting with making "content" websites.

I was just wondering if any of members here have a "work at home" job and wish to share insights on how to make money without leaving the house.

We would love to see your responses.

  • I feel like I see this question on this board at least once a week, I scrolled down and see 4 of these types of posts on the first two pages. I work from home freelancing for a company I originally worked for in a traditional 9-5 job. I think this is the way most people transition to a work at home environment, or they have some particular in demand skill that allows that flexibility.
  • My BFF does editing for the magazine she used to work for 10ish hours a week.   My BIL has a photography business.
  • I teach private music lessons in my home. My brother also works from home, he does website design, graphic design, etc.
  • My spouse and I are both consultants, in different fields. He has to leave the house for work once or twice a year, and I leave several times a week, depending on job site location; but the client pays for mileage.

  • my husband and I started our own fund/day trading advisory service so we work from home.  A lot of our clients work from home as well following our services.
  • I just started my own Paparazzi Accessories business and LOVE it!  It is a new company that offers women's accessories at affordable prices.  I have had a great response so far!
