SO, this weekend was full of shopping. I didn't want to spend a lot of money but I needed a few new things for my new job and also some jeans. One of the shirts I bought was originally $50, on sale, randomly had a gc that id idnt' know about, used my store cc for an additional 15% OFF (which i paid the total on RIGHT after I used it), and ended up paying $10 for it! THEN, today, I had a coupon, found some jeans, they rang up at $9, no joke. I couldn't believe it. I also found a couple other shirts, one at H&M and another at the rack for under $20 each each. Another one of my shirts came from target off the clearance rack and ended up being something like $7 dollars. SO proud of myself. After I only found one pair of pants at the first store, i went over to the rack and found a pair of kut jeans for $49. I'm excited, and since you all recently raved about them, i was surprised to see them in an 18. I can't believe it but i can totally do a 16 but didn't want to push it, too much too soon i think. I literally don't remember the last time iw asn't a 24 or above.. This is the girl that started out SPILLING out of a 28 just like 9.5-10mo ago! I couldn't even buy a 28.. i could only wear the ones that i'd worn out/stretched out. I am proud of myself! i also found a necklace at h&m for 8, and another necklace at francescas for 10. H & I both needed new shoes for the gym, so we had a couple coupons, $40 off, so we kinda splurged on those. I also bought a pair of toms for 'work'.
All in all, it was successful and i saved a ton of money but have a few nice new outfits for work.
and a couple new pairs of jeans for play that i'm excited to wear too! after i get them altered of course.
Re: AW: weekend steals (long-ish)
yay I LOVE mine!!
Wow, way to shop! I love-love-love the tops at Target (especially for "trendy" stuff which will be out of style before you know it), and I think spending money on decent / comfy shoes is money well spent because if you have to be on your feet all the time (which you will have to do at your new job, I assume), you don't want sore feet.
You should PIP some of the outfits when you wear them later this week / next week.
Awesome!
I should go shopping with you! I need some pants too, but I'm always too impatient to find deals like that.
That's seriously awesome sarack! Good job!
I also did a bit of shopping. I needed clothes with more color since I'm tired of hiding in dark clothes. I ended up getting a dress, 6 shirts, 3 bright silky scarves, 3 belts and 2 pairs of shoes for $50. I love thrift stores!
Great job Sarack!
I went shopping today too. Horray for new clothes.

Sarack, you did AMAZING!!! And great score on everything. FYI, I find the size on Kut from the Kloth varies widely depending on the particular style. It's the one sucky thing about the brand as I find you really need to try each one on (I have 2 size 6 and an 8 and in every other store I'm a 10 or 12).
And by the way, I just exclaimed in joy over your post and explained the size change and everyone in my living room expressed you've done amazing.
yes, you did well! i'm wondering what stores you all went to, though...did you use the 20% h&m coupon for this weekend?
